MYARBORHEALTH.ORG 3 A banner year for new providers Victoria Acosta, DO Victoria Acosta, DO, wanted to join a small- to medium-sized medical group in Washington state and found just what she was searching for in Arbor Health’s Mossyrock Clinic and Morton Hospital. Originally from Walla Walla, she is a fan of the outdoor recreation opportunities that East Lewis County offers—hiking, biking, kayaking and more. As much as she was searching for us, she was just what we were looking for to be a provider at the Mossyrock Clinic. Not only does she work in the full scope of family medicine for all ages, she offers a special emphasis on women’s health and pediatrics. It was a real advantage for our community to add another female physician to our medical staff. She has found a real home here. She can be reached for appointments at 360-983-8990. G. Parker Peresko, DPM G. Parker Peresko, DPM, is our first full-time foot and ankle surgeon. This specialty has been a real need for our community. While we have had several visiting specialists through the years, they only saw clinic patients at Arbor Health, so our community members still had to drive out of town for any procedures or surgeries. Dr. Peresko’s medical practice took off turbo-charged upon his arrival in September. His medical practice is inclusive of all podiatric and podiatric surgical needs, from routine nail care and diabetic foot and wound care to bunions and hammertoes as well as ankle/ heel pain and trauma and reconstructive lower extremity surgery. He can be reached for appointments at 360-496-3641. We welcomed five providers in 2021, likely the most ever in a single year Carolyn Price, LICSW In February, Carolyn Price, LICSW, became our first behavioral health specialist in our primary care clinics. She partners with the primary care providers to help our patients with their mental, physical and social health. She rotates her days among our three primary care clinics and can be reached for an appointment by calling: Mossyrock Clinic, 360-983-8990; Morton Clinic, 360-496-5145; Randle Clinic, 360-497-3333. Robert Williams, MD Orthopedics is a specialty that Arbor Health has sought for many years. However, East Lewis County does not have the population to support a full-time orthopedics practice. In 2021, we struck gold when we were introduced to Robert Williams, MD, who has a full-time orthopedics practice in Corpus Christi, Texas. Our connection came through an employee in Dr. Williams’ office who grew up in Eatonville. We have found this relationship to work very well with Dr. Williams coming to Morton three days a month. During those days, he sees his clinic patients at the Morton Clinic and performs orthopedic procedures and surgeries at Morton Hospital. This has been a real benefit to our community. He can be reached for appointments at 360-496-3641. Travis Podbilski, DO We were thrilled to successfully recruit Travis Podbilski, DO, as a primary care physician for Randle Clinic. With his love of outdoor recreation, he fits our community well. In addition to family medicine for all ages, he has a real passion for caring for patients with prediabetes and diabetes and focuses on curing rather than just treating this disease. He especially enjoys working with pediatrics and is also active in sports medicine. In fact, as a certified ImPACT program consultant, he works with the Arbor Health Rehab Services team, which assists our local high schools to develop concussion management programs. Dr. Podbilski can be reached for appointments at 360-497-3333.
